Dry Needling/Acupuncture
Dry needling and acupuncture are similar when it comes to the needles and skills used by the practitioner. However, dry needling focuses on trigger points in the muscles, while acupuncture is applied to the meridian points in the body. The different techniques are used for a more personalised treatment of the patient's ailments.
Combining the two needling methods is better than using them individually. There is minimal to no pain during the treatment as the needles are gently inserted into the skin. Local and remote points are targeted, which contributes to the treatment’s high effectiveness.
Massage (Acupressure and Remedial Massage)
Acupressure involves pressure being applied to certain acupoints along the meridians. The deep but tender force being used on the points forces the muscles to relax. This practice promotes energy flow in the body, which increases the rate of muscle and tissue repair.
Remedial massage can help relieve tension in your muscles and rid you of pain.
However, please note that violent force injuries cannot be treated in this way.

This kind of massage is different from the popular massages you know. There is a short video to show its special manipulations. These unique manipulations and the special group of acupoints can produce effective results.
Massage treatment for children.
Massage treatment for children is a special kind of massage therapy for children under 7 years old. It is different from massage treatments for adults, with different manipulations and acupoints. Children's acupoints are not a specific point in the nervous system, but an area. For further detail, refer to the image below.
